Shō ("See the Proof") is designed as a stateless, privacy-respecting intelligence tool. We believe health research should be private and accessible without requiring personal identity tracking or user account creation.
Shō does not require login, registration, email collection, or user account creation. We do not compile personal profiles or link your search queries to your real-world identity.
If you bookmark items (such as clinical trials, research papers, or supplement lookups), those saved items are stored exclusively in your web browser's localStorage. This data remains on your local device. It is not transmitted to, synchronized with, or saved on our servers.
When you perform a lookup or ask a question, your search parameters pass statelessly through Shō's backend API server to query publicly available federal and academic research databases, including:
Shō does not save searches to an application database. Requests pass through Vercel and the relevant research or AI provider, which may process technical logs under their own policies. Avoid entering information you do not want sent to those services.
Shō does not sell user data, run targeted advertising, or embed third-party advertising tracking pixels.
All communication with Shō is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Backend requests to external databases use secure API endpoints and tokenized session controls to protect server infrastructure.
Shō is a project of the LINCHPIN AI Innovation Lab. For questions about this policy or tool methodology, contact us via LINCHPIN AI Innovation Lab.
